The PTCRB Award of Excellence (PAE) is an annual recognition awarded to PTCRB authorized test labs that have gone above and beyond in their leadership and contributions to the PTCRB certification program.

Award Selection Criteria
The PTCRB Award of Excellence honors test labs that demonstrate outstanding performance in advancing PTCRB and IoT Network Certified certification programs. Selection is based on several key factors:
Contributions to test case development in standards development organizations and certification process enhancements.
- Number of new test cases developed, and enhancements made to existing ones.
- The value these contributions add to the PTCRB suite of technical and process requirements.
Collaboration & Support
- Labs that go above and beyond in partnering with the PTCRB community, interacting with relevant working groups, and promptly resolving issues.
Performance Feedback
- Positive feedback from network operators, manufacturers, and CTIA Certification staff regarding testing accuracy, consistency, and professionalism.
Essentially, winners are labs that consistently raise testing standards, smooth the certification pathway for device manufacturers, and help ensure device interoperability.

The PTCRB certification program provides confidence that devices conform with global standards and perform optimally on mobile wireless networks.
